根據(jù)科學(xué)家的說(shuō)法，人生中最重要的階段應(yīng)該是童年時(shí)期。家長(zhǎng)如何教育孩子將會(huì)影響到孩子的人生。

在撫育孩子的過(guò)程中，每個(gè)家長(zhǎng)都急切的盼望著孩子學(xué)到新的生活技能—發(fā)出的第一個(gè)單詞，邁出的第一步，或者是開(kāi)始讀書(shū)和鞋子。家長(zhǎng)都希望孩子能盡快的學(xué)習(xí)超過(guò)了學(xué)習(xí)水平的事物是可以理解的，但是這個(gè)可能使孩子建立了一種挫敗感。這個(gè)對(duì)每個(gè)階段的人都有可能發(fā)生。一個(gè)嬰兒有可能被要求在過(guò)于早的年齡去學(xué)會(huì)獨(dú)自使用馬桶，一個(gè)孩子可能在理解單詞的意思之前就被鼓勵(lì)去讀書(shū)。但在另一方面，如果一個(gè)孩子被選擇自我發(fā)展太久的話，可能會(huì)喪失學(xué)習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)，丟失了對(duì)人生和對(duì)新知識(shí)的熱情。
